This Day In Elvis History - Moody Blue
July 19, 1977: On this day, Elvis Presley's final studio album Moody Blue was released. The album contained live and studio recorded tracks used from his final recording sessions and two tracks leftover from the previous Graceland session. The album reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Elvis overcame that early family tragedy to become the King of Rock & Roll.
