Happy Record Store Day!
News · Apr. 16, 2010

Record Store Day is an annual celebration of the unique culture surrounding hundreds of independently owned record stores in the USA, and hundreds of similar stores internationally. On Saturday, April 17th, all of the independently owned record stores will come together with the communities they serve to celebrate the art of music. Special releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for Record Store Day. This year Legacy Recordings is proud to contribute two great vinyl pieces:

"That's All Right" b/w "Blue Moon of Kentucky" (Sun Records #209) was Elvis Presley's very first single. To commemorate The King's 75th Birthday, we are offering a faithful reproduction of the original 45! The 45 now comes with a custom-designed 7" sleeve that is exclusive to this release! The piece also includes a free Bonus Download of both tracks.

In addition to the lovely Jimi Hendrix vinyl re-issues that are already available, we are pleased to offer a special Jimi Hendrix 12" on colored vinyl. The A-side features "Fire", "Red House", and "Foxey Lady". The B-side features "Purple Haze" and "Wild Thing."

These two great items are only available at independent record stores. Visit www.recordstoreday.com for a list of participating stores. Go out and support independently owned music retailers in your community!
